Savoyard chef Marc Veyrat upped the takeaway stakes when he put his small fleet
of smart black food trucks on the road. Order gastronomic-to-go sandwiches and
main dishes online before noon, then collect from the truck; the nearest stop to the
Eiffel Tower is in front of the Anglo-American pharmacy at 37 rue Marceau, on the
corner of rue de Chaillot.
Dishes ooze the creative flair you'd expect of a former Michelin-starred chef -
think ham, grated carrot, cumin, parmesan cheese and a wafer-thin slice of chocol-
ate inside the '21st-century' sandwich.
