From the architectural limitation imposed by building permit, the analysis per-
formed on the house project for placing inside the house of the mCCHP system
without affecting the requirements of building permits, is a necessary technical
basement in the building.
The execution of a building may only be done based on the technical project and
the execution details. Technical project was developed by specialized technical
teams, and signed by technical staff having higher education degrees in architecture,
construction, and related facilities.

2 Manufacturer Business Plan

The second step in achieving amCCHP system is the analysis ofmanufacturer business
plan in order to select the appropriate approach. We have considered the case in which,
for a given residence, the design of a dedicated mCCHP system is required, using
nondedicated (or general use) components, available on the market today. Once the
manufacturer businesses plan, have been completed, the design should be continued
with the collection of all initial data that form the hypothesis of the design problem.

3 Initial Data Collection

Initial data refers to: (a) the residence building features, (b) the customer needs and
requirements, (c) the residence functional needs, and (d) the residence energetic
environment.

3.1 Experimental Residence Features

3.1.1 Residence Location

The Galati city is situated in the southeast of Romania, 45 ° 47 ″ latitude to the north
and 28 ° 2 ″ longitude to the east, on the left bank of the Danube at the con uence of

the rivers Siret (to the west) and Prut (to the east), near Lake Brate ş , the biggest lake

in this part of the country (Fig. 1 ). It is the capital of Galaţi ţ i County which is situated

in the Euroregion, the eastern border of the EU in proximity to the

Republic of Moldavia and Ukraine. With a population of 249,432 inhabitants,
