the battery. Thermal energy is provided by three sources: the Stirling engine, a pellet
boiler, and a solar collector, all being collected in an accumulating tank. The accu-
mulated thermal energy is used for heating the domestic water and the residence, in
winter regime, as well as for air conditioning, in summer regime. In the structure of the
conditioning equipment, there is an accumulating tank for the accumulation of
the cold reserve. This is not included in the model, since the conditioning equipment
was characterized in the global model of the system through the total power con-
sumed, without given details about the dynamics of the internal processes of the
conditioning equipment.
