the pellet boiler (0.09 kW), the cooling pump of the Stirling engine (0.071 kW),
the recirculation pump of the pellet boiler (0.071 kW), the circulation pump of
the pellet boiler (0.311 kW), the cooler ventilator of the Stirling engine
(0.340 kW), and the pump used in the hot water circulation in convectors
(0.6 kW). It results a permanent consumption of 1.573 kW;
the consumption of the domestic water recirculation pump (0.202 kW), when
the respective circuit operates. Considering the operating intervals for the pump
given by Fig. 23 and the pump operates at the nominal power, it results an
average consumed power of 0.051 kW.
As a conclusion, the total average consumption in winter is: P c = 1.58 +
1.573 + 0.051 = 3.204 kW.
￿
(b)
In summer regime the equipment
s own consumption differs from the one used
in winter regime through its permanent regime component, since the equip-
ments which operate are different. The electrical load is made up of the fol-
lowing components:
'
the permanent load of 0.902 kW contains: the pellet boiler (0.09 kW), the
cooling pump of the Stirling engine (0.09 kW), the recirculation pump for
the pellet boiler (0.071 kW), the circulation pump for the pellet boiler
(0.311 kW), and the cooler ventilator of the Stirling engine (0.340 kW);

accumulation tank
0.27 kW; the pump for the
external circuit of the chiller

1.2 kW;
adsorption chiller
0.014 kW). The cooling subsystem operating regime
(that is of the adsorption chiller) is scheduled in the time intervals 10 pm

am and 10 am - 4 pm. It results an average consumed power of 1.109 kW;
