Optical vortex, which is associated with optical singularities, was
found a hundred years ago. The optical singularity, which is a point
where the Poynting vector of a wave is zero, has been developed
into a branch of optics (singular optics). The optical vortex can also
be created in the near-field region of a special low symmetric Taiji
pattern due to its plasmonic resonance. In this chapter, the optical
vortex of Taiji mark will be carefully analyzed. Furthermore, the
optical torque of the Taiji mark induced by optical vortex is studied
for the opto-mechanical oscillator.
13.1 Introduction: An Explanation of the Process and
Approach
In nature, vortices can be observed on both microscopic and
macroscopic scales. For example, vortex-like structures within
