resistance of the needle excluding the internal resistance of the
probe was measured to be nearly 50 m . The measured EDX
spectrum of the fabricated needle (shown by the red line) was also
identical to that of the substrate surface (shown by the black line),
indicating that the fabricated nanoneedle and the substrate had the
same chemical compositions. And thus, the fabricated needle was
perfectly metallic.
