As you might have noticed, Figure 3.2 has quite a few products with
the word Hyperion in its name. Hyperion Solutions Corporation was an
enterprise performance management software company, located in Santa
Clara, California, that was acquired by Oracle Corporation in 2007. Many
of its products were targeted at the BI and business performance man-
agement markets, and as of 2013 are still actively developed and sold by
Oracle as Oracle Hyperion products.
Hyperion software products include:
