Project artifact wiki.
Of all of the collaborative tools available, particularly those that are free,
wikis are the most prominently used. Zoho.com provides a wide range of
tools, including chat, discussions, meetings, and projects, but it is their
wiki tool that I'd like to focus on here.
In FigureĀ  4.7, I created a wiki to store all of the artifacts for a typical
project, i.e., project plan, systems requirement specifications, analysis
docs, etc. In FigureĀ 4.8 you can see the project plan artifact in wiki form.

Twitter, a social networking app made famous by celebrities who tweet
hourly updates on what they are doing (e.g., eating lunch, shopping, etc.),
has morphed into an enterprise social networking application called
Yammer. With the ability to integrate with tools such as SharePoint,
Yammer provides a suite of tools, including enterprise microblogging,
communities, company directory, direct messaging, groups, and knowl-
edge base. SunGard employees actually started using Yammer on their
own to share information about projects they were working on. Now it
has been rolled out to all 20,000+ employees.
Much of what Yammer offers is free with their basic service. Their Gold
subscription provides such corporate niceties as security controls, admin
controls, broadcast messages, enhanced support, SharePoint integration,
