The metallopeptide 34 represents an achiral peptide (Figure 8.22) in which a short 3 10 -
helix is stabilized by the coordination of platinum(II) or palladium(II). Metallopeptide 34
shows some decelerated chirality interconversion upon coordination of the metals to the
side chain pyridines [59].
