Figure 5.20 shows the characteristic CH 2 region of the 1 H NMR spectra of a 1 : 1 mix-
ture of the dinickel helicate 16 and the dizinc helicate 17 (including traces of the trinu-
clear species) 30min (Figure 5.20a) and 18 h (Figure 5.20b) after dissolving the two
complexes in DMF- d 7 . The first spectrum (Figure 5.20a) is dominated by the resonances
[Ni 2 (N,S^N,S) 2 ]
