In-Depth Information
What to Buy in Tuscany
As a centre for high fashion and quality
antiques, Florence is expensive but hard to beat.
Bargains also abound, especially in leather
goods and shoes. For food lovers there is a
wide variety of wines, olive oils and preserves.
Away from Florence, small farm estates in
Tuscany sell their produce, such as honeys,
liqueurs and wines, direct to the public, while
many Tuscan towns
have their own craft
and food specialities.
