here carry on up to San
Francesco e , a Franciscan
friary founded in 1399 and
restored in 1907. It has a pretty
cloister and a museum of arti-
facts collected by the monks.

interior is decorated with local
grey sandstone, pietra serena .

town centre. Continue down
Via Vecchia Fiesolana. On the
left is the Villa Medici r ,
built in 1461 by Michelozzo for
Cosimo de' Medici. Walk
down Via Bandini and Via
