Tickets
Admission to many museums and memorial sites is free. Major museums that do
charge admission include the Jüdisches Museum, Deutsches Historisches Museum,
Mauermuseum, Story of Berlin and Schloss Cecilienhof.
Opening Hours
Core museum hours are 10am to 6pm, with a number of major venues open until at
least 8pm.
Closed Monday: Märkisches Museum, Ort der Information, Schloss Cecilienhof,
Deutsch-Russisches Museum Berlin-Karlshorst, Tränenpalast.
Closed Wednesday: AlliertenMuseum.
Although the Sachsenhausen camp grounds are open on Mondays, most exhibits are
closed.
Tours
Schloss Cecilienhof and the Stasi Prison can only be seen on guided tours (no need to
prebook). Call or check the websites for timings of English tours.
