In-Depth Information
Toilets
German toilets are sit-down affairs. Men are expected to sit down when peeing.
Free-standing, 24-hour self-cleaning public toilet pods have become quite commonplace.
The cost is €0.50 and you have 15 minutes to finish your business. Most are wheelchair-ac-
cessible.
Toilets in malls, clubs, beer gardens etc often have an attendant who expects a tip of
between €0.20 and €0.50.
