Has classic city, Nazi era and Berlin Wall tours as well as a fascinating 'Raw: Berlin Ex-
posed' tour that gets under the city's urban, subcultural skin. Tours leave from the TV Tower
main entrance. E-bike tours available. Reservations recommended (and for some tours re-
quired).
Boat Tours
Tours range from one-hour spins around Museumsinsel (from €12) to longer trips to Schloss
Charlottenburg and beyond (from €15). Young children usually travel for free; those under
14 and seniors get 50% off. Most tours offer live commentary in English and German and
sell refreshments on board. Stern und Kreisschiffahrt is one of the major operators. The
main season runs from April to mid-October with a limited schedule in the winter months.
Bus Tours
Colourful buses tick off the key sights on two-hour loops with basic taped commentary in
eight languages. During the day, you're free to get off and back on at any of the stops, pay-
ing only once. Buses depart roughly every 15 or 30 minutes between 10am and 5pm or 6pm
daily; tickets can be purchased on board and cost from €10 to €20 (half-price for teens, free
