This living-room-style comedy club delivers an assembly line of belly laughs in cosy digs at
a former bank building. On Tuesday nights funny folk from English-speaking countries spin
everyday material into comedy gold. Other treats: improv, open mike and the inimitable
Fish & Whips burlesque shows.
SHOPPING
Kastanienallee and Oderberger Strasse are popular for Berlin-made fashions
and streetwear. More indie stores hold forth along Stargarder Strasse and in
the streets around Helmholtzplatz, especially lower Dunckerstrasse. Cool-
hunters should also steer to the Mauerpark and Arkonaplatz to forage for flea-
market treasure. For everyday needs stop by the Schönhauser Allee Arcaden
mall right by the eponymous U-/S-Bahn station.
