The academy across from the main museum, open since November 2012, houses the mu-
seum's archive, library and education department, but for general visitors is mostly of in-
terest for its architecture. Another Libeskind design, the house-in-house concept consists of
three inclined cubes with the first forming the entrance and leading to a central hall. From
here two more wood-panelled cubes - tilted towards one another and intended to evoke
Noah's Ark - house the auditorium and a library. The inner courtyard called 'Diaspora
Garden' is a quiet place of reflection.
