Berlin barmeister Gonçalo de Sousa Monteiro treats clued-in patrons to his libational flights
of fancy in an intimate cocktail salon behind a nameless door. Historical concoctions are his
strength, including the eponymous Buck and Breck, a potent blend of cognac, bitters, ab-

wall. A local favourite of boho-bourgeois elite, it's at its raucous best after 1am when the
space before the toilet turns into an impromptu dance floor.

in cut-crystal whisky tumblers. Smoking allowed.
