This world-famous concert hall has supreme acoustics and, thanks to Hans Scharoun's clev-
er terraced vineyard design, not a bad seat in the house. It's the home turf of the Berliner
Philharmoniker, which will be led by Sir Simon Rattle until 2018. Chamber music concerts
take place at the adjacent Kammermusiksaal .
