YoYo Player
The YoYo Player is a new game distribution service from YoYo Games. This allows people
who own GameMaker to upload their games for other people to play. The YoYo Player is
often referred to as the GameMaker version of Steam.
Before we can upload a game, we must first have a player account. This can be created
from directly inside the YoYo Player itself when we are prompted to log in. We can also
make an account by going to
https://player.yoyogames.com
.
Simply click on the
Register here
button and follow the on screen instructions to set up an
account.
Once we have a normal player account and can log in, we need to create the developer ac-
count. This new account will be linked directly to the one we just made and will allow us to
upload games to the YoYo Player.
To create a developer account, follow the instructions on the YoYo Games wiki at

Once we have a developer account, we can now export our games for use with the YoYo
Player.
To export the game to the YoYo Player, open GameMaker and select the
GameMaker:
Player
option from the
Target
list:
