Arriving by Air
Ruzyne International Airport, Tel: (420) 220 111 888 for information, including

Located 19 kilometers from the city center, Ruzyne Airport is the home base for
Czech Airlines, and serves more than 20 other international airlines. Direct flights
are available to New York and Atlanta. Tourist information is available in the “Arrivals
Hall.”
Airport-City Links: Bus service every 30 minutes (Airport Express) from the air-
port into Prague Main Station. The price is 150 CZK; journey time, 35 minutes. Bus
service is also available to other parts of the city.
Taxis are available just outside the arrivals area. Fare to city center is about
500-700 CZK; journey time, 30 to 40 minutes; be sure to use one of the licensed
taxis.
Arriving by Train
Prague Main Station (Praha hlavní nádraž, Praha hl.n) is the main station in
Prague, as well as the central station for all of the Czech Republic.
Prague Main Station is worth a visit by itself for the Art Nouveau design of the sta-
tion and the original booking hall, now a restaurant. The more recent portion of the
station has a currency exchange desk (open 0900-1600 weekdays), left luggage
service, as well as restaurant and small shop services. An information desk (rail-
pass validation also) is open 0400-0030 Monday-Friday and 0700-0030 Saturday
and Sunday.
Tourist Information/Hotel Reservations
• Main Tourist Office, Staroměstské náměstí 1, just off the main square in Old
Town. Open 0900-1900 daily, until 2000 in the summer. Accommodation service
available, as well as tickets for various concerts and other events, tours, the
Prague Card, and guidebooks.
