The most breathtaking way to experience the raw natural beauty of Cappadocia
is with a hot air balloon ride. A variety of companies offer tours that usually leave at
0600 to take advantage of the cool air and gentle breezes. The balloons survey the
landscape from a height of approximately 1,000 feet and the flight itself lasts about
90 minutes, with a traditional champagne toast upon landing. Prices €150-€200
per person, depending on the length of the flights and the associated amenities
(breakfast, hotel-pick-up, etc.).
