Ström), turn right onto Hamngatan and take another right onto Gamla Råd-
stugugatan. Pass Repslagaregatan and take the next right to Dalsgatan. The tourist
office is located in the Industrial Landscape, opposite Louis De Geer Concert and
Congress Hall.
If you want to experience, in the same day, two different forms of land transportation
that span 100 years, now's your chance. Take the modern, high-speed X 2000 train
(seat reservations required and supplement payable) from Stockholm Central in the
morning and arrive in Norrköping in only 1 hour and 17 minutes. Then, for an excel-
lent introduction to Norrköping that includes the charm of yesteryear, ride the 1902
tram Gamla Ettan, “the Old Number One.” There are only two cities in Sweden that
still use the quaint, clean, and efficient tram system—Gothenburg and Norrköping.
