In-Depth Information
Four day excursions have been selected for the Grand Duchy and its surrounding
countries. Each is distinctly different in its points of interest. The day excursion to
Clervaux takes you through the rugged north country of the Grand Duchy, where
the World War II Ardennes campaign was contested bitterly in 1944. The day ex-
cursion to charming Koblenz, one of the oldest cities in Germany, is saturated with
scenic views along the Moselle and Rhine Rivers. Metz measures up to a most in-
teresting day excursion into France. The German city of Trier, founded by Augus-
tus Caesar, provides an exciting opportunity to explore many Roman ruins and to
titillate your taste buds with the most delectable Moselle wines.
