Notes: To get to the tourist office on foot, exit the railway station and turn left onto
Railway Street. Make a right onto Penrose's Quay to St. Patrick's Bridge. Turn left
onto St. Patrick's Street until you come to Grand Parade on your left. Follow it past
Oliver Plunkett Street, and you will see the tourist office on your left. To get to the
bus station from the tourist office, go back to Oliver Plunkett Street, where you turn
right. Turn left on Anglesea Street until you come to the bus station.
Cork, Ireland's second-largest city (about 200,000 residents) and commercial and
passenger port, is easily accessible from both Dublin and Shannon (via train from
