The grandeur of the Monaco yacht harbor may be viewed from many vantage
points. The view from the casino's restaurant Le Prive is impressive—expensive,
too. Probably the best site (at popular prices) is a canopy-covered table at the Por-
tofino Restaurant, which clings to the cliff just above the quai President Kennedy.

Notes: Located across the street and to the left of the main entrance to the railway
station. It is identified by a white “i” sign together with TOURISME in brown letters.
If you arrive late, there is also a tourist information stand available on the Veillat
Beach, 1 block from the main tourist information office. It is open 1400 to 2200.
Saint-Raphaël is the Riviera resort that has something for everyone—and at popu-
lar prices. Its primary asset is its delightful weather, which is mild in the winter and
moderate throughout the entire summer.
