tremely hard to come by during June, July, and August, as well as during the winter
holiday period. If possible, reserve your accommodations well in advance.
Hotel rates in Nice and the rest of the Riviera vary according to season, so
be specific when requesting reservations. The most expensive time of the year is
between late March and the end of October. If you are looking for bargain rates,
late October through January is when the rates are lowest.

The best way to get around in Nice is on foot, by bicycle/scooter, or by bus or
minivan.
