Getting Around in Helsinki
The Helsinki Card is a veritable key to the city. This card not only grants you
free travel on buses, trams, trains, and the Metro in the metropolitan area but
also provides free entry to about 50 museums and other places of interest in
and around Helsinki and includes a free guided sightseeing tour by bus. Showing
the card in department stores brings you a free gift; it will spoil you in many of
the city's restaurants, theaters, the opera, and concerts. A 96-page brochure de-
scribing the scores of opportunities the Helsinki Card provides may be obtained
from the Helsinki City Tourist Office or in the Hotel Booking Centre at the railway
station, as well as at some travel agencies, hotels, and department stores. Visit
www.helsinkiexpert.fi .
