Follow the signs to the castle, starting just outside the station building (about
a 20-minute walk). If you like, you can obtain a brochure in the railway station that
contains a city map to help guide your way. Or take bus No. 701 or 702 in the direc-
tion of either Ullerød or Sophienborg, and ask the driver to let you off at the tourist
information office. You can buy tickets on the bus for DKK 20.

Hillerød can become the crowning touch to your visit to Denmark. The town has
