Priorities' Magnitude Comparator
A magnitude comparator may be implemented using fm-to codes applied to a
toggle register, as suggested in a later chapter, but here is a design using random
logic. Priorities may be compared two at a time as in Fig. 6.9 .
This example involves four calculated priorities. Pairs of priority values are
compared in U1 and U2, which are comparison blocks. The true or false outputs of
