Magnificent Park Pobedy (Victory Park) at Poklonnaya Hill is a huge memorial

Obelisk
The dominant monument is an enormous obelisk, topped with a sculpture of St George slay-
ing the dragon (the work of Zurab Tsereteli). Its height is exactly 141.8m, with every 10cm
representing one day of the war. At the 60th Victory Day celebrations in 2005, Putin un-
veiled 15 mighty bronze cannons , symbolic of the war's 15 fronts. The ensemble is sur-
rounded by fountains and benches, as well as the sweet Church of St George .
