est inhabitant, the Pannonian liz-
ard. Access is free.

of Medical History
The house of the ground-breaking
doctor Ignáz Semmelweis
(b.1818) is now a museum.
Exhibits include medicines from
ancient Egypt to the present day.

Raoul Wallenberg, who saved
tens of thousands of Jews from
Nazi death camps. A monument
to him stands at the corner of
