TASK 3: DEPLOY REPORT TO WINDOWS AZURE
1. You can now deploy the newly created report to the Windows Azure so that it will be
available to readers on the Internet. To do so, right-click the
GradeReport
project in
Solution Explore and select
Properties
on the pop-up menu.
2. In the GradeReport Property Pages dialog, double click the
TargetServerURL
prop-
erty and enter the report server name recorded in earlier activities as shown in Figure
10.42. he report URL looks something like
https://wn8luifzvr.reporting.windows.net/ReportServer/
3. Make sure that
StartItem
has the report
Class Grade Report.rdl
ile selected as
shown in Figure 10.42.
4. Click
OK
to complete the coniguration. To deploy the report, right click the
GradeReport
project and select
Deploy
on the pop-up menu. Enter the user name
and password for your report server in the Report Services Login dialog and then click
OK
to deploy the report.
5. To see the deployed report, in your browser, enter the URL
https://wn8luifzvr.reporting.windows.net/ReportServer/
