4. On the Welcome to Report Wizard page, click Next to go to the Select Data Source
page. Name the new data source as SQLDBDataSource and specify Microsoft SQL
Azure in the Ty p e drop-down list.
5. Click the Edit button to open the Connection Properties dialog. In the Server name
combo box, enter the name of your Windows Azure SQL Database Server. Select the
option Use SQL Server Authentication and enter the user name and password. You
may also click the check box Save my password . In the Select or enter a database name
combo box, specify the database Class_Registration as shown in Figure 10.35. Click the
Test Connection button to verify if the connection is successful. hen, click OK .
6. You will be prompted to enter the user name and password for the data source
SQLDBDataSource. For example, you may use the user name COSC6336 and pass-
word Student1 (Figure 10.36). hen, click OK .
7. On the Design the Query page, click the Query Builder button. Expand the Tables
node. Select the tables CLASS , COURSE , STUDENT , and STUDENT_CL ASS .
Click the button Auto Detect to establish the relationships among these tables.
hen, remove the rest of the columns except the columns FirstName , LastName ,
CourseName , ClassID , and Grade as shown in Figure 10.37. Click the Run Query
icon; you should be able to see the data selected by the query. hen, click OK to com-
plete the construction of the query.
8. Click Next twice to go to the Select the Report Type page. Take the default type
Tabu la r .
9. Click Next to go to the Design the Table page. Select FirstName and click Page > ,
select LastName and click Page > , select CourseName , ClassID , and Grade , and
then click Details > as shown in Figure 10.38.
