5. Enter your user name and password to log on to Windows Azure SQL Database.
6. Once you have logged on to your database, click the
New
icon on the ribbon to open
the page for creating a new federation.
7. As shown in Figure 8.30, in the Create a Federation in ClassDB page, enter
Class_
Federation
for Name,
ClassID
for Distribution Name, keep
bigint
for Distribution
Data Type, and
R ANGE
for Distribution Type. hen, click the
Save
button. he
newly created federation will be shown on the right-hand side of your screen.
