9. Right click
Data Flow Task
and select
Edit
in the pop-up menu. After the Package
Design pane is opened, under the
Other Sources
node, drag
ADO.NET Source
from
the Toolbox pane to the Package Design pane as shown in Figure 5.27.
10. Right click on
ADO.NET Source
and select
Edit
from the pop-up menu.
11. In the
Name of the table or the view
drop-down list, select the table named
ORDER_
INVENTORY
as shown in Figure 5.28. Click the
Preview
button to make sure that
the connection is working. hen, click
OK
to complete the ADO.NET coniguration.
12. For the local computer, we can create an OLE DB destination by dragging
OLE
DB Destination
under the
Other Destinations
node from the Toolbox pane to the
Package Design pane. Click
ADO.NET Source
and drag the green arrow to
OLE DB
Destination
as shown in Figure 5.29.
13. Right click
OLE DB Destination
and select
Edit
from the pop-up menu. After OLE
DB Destination Editor opens, click the
New
button located on the right-hand side of
the OLE DB Connection Manager drop-down list.
14. After the OLE DB Connection Manager dialog is opened, click the
New
button again.
In the Connection Manager dialog, select the local SQL Server from the server name
drop-down list. Keep the option
Use Winnows Authentication
. Select
Computer_
Store
from the Select or enter a database name drop-down list as shown in Figure 5.30.
Click
OK
to complete the OLE DB destination connection. Click
OK
to complete the
coniguration of Connection Manager.
15. Go back to OLE DB Destination Editor, set the Data access mode to
Table or View—
fast load
and check
Keep identity
. In the Name of the table or the view drop-down
list, select the table
INVENTORY
as shown in Figure 5.31.
