TASK 2: POPULATING DATABASE WITH DATA
You can enter data into database tables in two ways. You can enter data manually as shown
in the following. Or, you can enter data using an SQL statement that will be discussed in
the next chapter. If you prefer not to enter data manually, you can wait for the next chapter.
1. Click
Design
to switch back to the design window. Click the
Edit
icon next to the
table
BUILDING
. Click the
Data
link. You will be prompted to add data manually.
By clicking the
Add Row
link, you can enter the data shown in Figure 3.40. hen,
click the
Save
icon to save the data in the table BUILDING.
2. Similarly, you can enter the data in the other tables as shown in Figures 3.41 through 3.52.
After the data are entered, your irst database is physically implemented.
