together with the impact of solid waste dumped on the streambed and stream banks. It is
impossible to distinguish between the two possible causes of pollution, but it is more
likely that it is due to the solid waste depositions, because of the very low contribution of
runoff during this specific season, as discussed in the following section. The data set
regarding this point shows a good distribution with a relatively low difference between
mean and median values. The comparison with the acting regulations with respect to the
