Thread
This command adds a thread feature to a cylindrical face. The thread features are added to
a 3D geometry so that when you create a 2D drawing, NX can automatically place the cor-
rect thread annotation. Activate this command (click
Home > Feature > More > Thread
on the ribbon). The
Thread
dialog pops up on the screen. To create a symbolic thread, set
the
Thread Type
to
Symbolic
and click on a cylindrical face of the part geometry. The
thread parameters are automatically updated on the
Thread
dialog. If you want to apply a
standard thread, then click
Choose From table
on the dialog and select a standard thread.
Click
OK
.
