The signals presented here have so far been almost exclusively of theoretical importance. As a result of the
computer, theory and practice are becoming more and more of a unit because theory is concerned with
mathematical models of processes and the computer can easily calculate the results of these mathematical
processes (formulae) and represent them graphically.
