DASYLab represents signals as continuous functions by linking the measurement points with each other. If
you look more closely at the top you will see a straight line between two measurement points. Although this
enhances clarity it suggests deceptively that we are in an analog world.
What does similarity consist in here? On the one hand (here) all the measurements are
positive. In addition they are of similar dimensions. Within the two small segments the
signals develop in roughly the same way.
