choice are that this strategy is characterised by having the second minimum use of
the actuator, around 30%, and energy consumption equal to 39 Wh. In addition, the
existing difference among the mean number of changes is not very significant in
comparison to the other strategies, since in the best case, strategy (A) with

there are approximately 30 changes whereas in the selected one there are 35 changes.
In summary, in this section the practical applicability of a linear control system
using only one cost function involving thermal comfort and energy savings was
demonstrated. The main objective was to evaluate how PMV could be improved
while saving energy using only the HVAC system. Different control strategies have
been tested inside this building, and a comparison among them has been made as
a function of several indices. However, as can be observed in the results obtained
there are several disturbances, just as people or the variables related to the fancoil,
