The results obtained for strategy (D) are shown in Fig. 5.19 . From this figure, it
can be clearly observed that the PMV index is close to zero with both weighting
coefficients. However, there exists a difference of about 40 min between the time
necessary to reach this PMV index value. The main reason for this difference is the
number of people inside the room. In the first case (
012), there were 5 people
in the room throughout the test. However, in the other case, there were 5 people at the
beginning of the experiment, but at approximately 09:30, another person came into
the room for about 20 min. Finally, if both control signals provided by the controller
in each situation are compared, it can be noticed that in the first case (
