period from 1 September 2010 to 29 February 2012 and a sample time of t s =

has been used. Finally, the different models have been validated using a real data
set from the meteorologic station of the CDdI-CIESOL-ARFRISOL building. More
specifically, the selected data set has a total duration of a week, from 24-30 October
2011, and a sample time of t s =
60 s. The results obtained for the solar radiation and
outdoor air temperature with a prediction horizon equal to 60min can be observed
in Fig. 4.36 a, b respectively.
4.5 Conclusions
In order to develop appropriate control strategies of the main variables which influ-
ence human comfort (temperature, relative humidity and CO 2 concentration) it is
necessary to use models able to capture the dominant dynamics of the modelled
system. In this chapter, different techniques that allow to obtain a room-level cli-
mate model have been presented. More specifically, in a first approach, an analysis
