This is an intimate condo com-
plex and hideaway tucked away at the nor thern end of S even Mile
Beach, with some of the best snorkeling right off its beach.The choice
is idyllic for families because the lodgings consist of either two- or
three-bedroom units. Thatched cabanas line the beach in front of the
hotel. S pacious, w ell-equipped kitchens and large living r ooms ar e
found in each of the condos, which ar e decorated with pastel colors,
handsomely furnished, and w ell maintained. There's a private swim-
ming pool if y ou don't want the beach. You can also do the family
laundry on-site. H owever, y ou'll need transpor tation to r each most
restaurants and attractions.

Island Pine Villas
Right on Seven Mile Beach, this unpretentious
villa complex is comfor table and casual, though it 's far less elegant
than the Colonial Club. A family-friendly complex of one- and two-
bedroom condos, it is close to G eorge Town. Inside and outside, it
looks like a Days Inn motel along the Florida Turnpike. The units are
well furnished with fully equipped kitchens and daily maid ser vice.
There's a choice of queen- or king-siz e beds, and the best accommo-
dations overlook the beach.
