Paradise Villas Resort Kids On high-priced Little Cayman,
this resort on the beach is the best deal—especially if y ou're traveling
with your family, as babysitting can be arranged. The style is typically
Caymanian, with gingerbread decoration, metal roofs, and porches in
the fr ont and back. The r esort consists of six duplex cottages that
border the sea; each cottage is divided into two one-bedr oom units
with small but comfortable rooms. Pullout couches in the living room
easily accommodate extra guests. The compact bathr ooms contain
shower stalls. G uests prepare their o wn meals in a kitchenette. The
resort is on the island 's south side, near the little airpor t, and pickup
is provided free. The resort also r ents cars to guests, although a gr o-
cery store, boutique, and liquor store are all within walking distance,
and the resort provides free bikes. On the premises is the best afford-
able restaurant on the island, The Hungry Iguana (p. 180).

Sam McC oy's Diving & F ishing L odge Set on the island 's
northwestern shore, this all-inclusive hotel reflects the personalities of
Sam McCoy and his family, who include their guests in many aspects
of their day-to-day liv es. You won't really find a bar or r estaurant in
the traditional sense here; rather, you'll pour your own drinks (usually
from y our o wn bottle) or drink at a beach bar that rises fr om the
sands of B loody Bay, a shor t walk fr om the hotel. Light snacks and
simple platters are served at outdoor tables near the main lodge with
Sam and his gang, many of whom ar e associated in one way or
