Although the setting is a bit bleak—no lush land-
scaping except for a buffer grove of sea grapes—this is one of the most
comfortable small-house r entals on the island. F or many visitors, it
would make an ideal “second home” in the Caribbean.
The concr ete units ar e decorated in a typical West I ndian style,
with pastels, white washed woods, and tiles. The rentals each hav e a
well-maintained, medium-size private bathroom. The sofa bed in the
living room can be converted to receive additional guests. Each of the
bedrooms has a king-size bed and a walk-in closet. You can enjoy the
ocean vie w with a cup of coffee in the morning fr om y our priv ate
patio, or a cocktail at night fr om the co vered porch. The kitchen is
generously equipped with utensils and har dware. There's also a laun-
dry room adjacent to the kitchen, and an outside sho wer to wash off
sand after a day at the beach.The oceanfront house accommodates up
to six, making it an ideal space for families, or a small group of friends
who can appr eciate its casual, laid-back style. H ammocks are strung
up on the co vered por ch for lazy enjo yment of the surr oundings.
