land Arts Trust stepped in to revive the early 20th-century architectural detail and
furnish it with period pieces. Admire the contrasting Arts and Crafts style of the hall
with its dark-wood paneling featuring intricate foliage carvings and showy peacock
mosaic, and the stark, white drawing room, with cobalt blue fireplace and views over
the lake.

nearby Coniston Water during an attempt to break his own water speed record.
