Exploring Bristol
The Bristol Harbourside , the city's rough-and-ready docks in the 19th century,
is now the heart of the modern city, converted into wonderful hotels, excellent res-

years before its completion in 1864.
At-Bristol PLANETARIUM This entertaining, interactive science center is
targeted primarily at kids and families, with special exhibits on animation, flight,
human inventions, and a stunning planetarium. Kids will love the “walk-in tornado,”
“leaning lounge,” and “play TV,” where they get to direct or present their own shows.
