In-Depth Information
Tate Modern If you're an art lover, you should definitely swing by Tate Modern for
a browse in their shop. It's a great store, full of prints and more art topics than you'll
ever be able to carry. Everything in their shop is inspired by the exhibitions, and if you
see a piece of art you like when you're walking around, be sure to note the number
so you can pick up a much more affordable postcard version to send home; it's easier
than trying to sneak a Monet into your handbag. Bankside, SE1. &   020/7887-8888. www.
tate.org.uk/modern. Tube: Southwark.
V&A Shop The V&A has the best museum shop in London, perfect for
design lovers. It stocks everything from exotic jewelry inspired by the exhibitions to
their own line of toiletries and reclaimed prints. They take design seriously, and it's
celebrated in every single item in the shop. It's worth the trip to the museum just for
the shop, even if you don't have much time to look around the (mostly free) exhibits.

CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES
Children
Amaia With descriptions like “easy-to-wear” and “elegant” you'd be forgiven for

for adults, it's for the well-heeled kids of London used to the finer things in life. 14
Cale St., SW3. &   020/7590-0999. Tube: S. Kensington.
Elias & Grace Where do you go for the best dresses you can buy your little

Jewelry
Comfort Station There is no jewelry brand that does quirky elegance quite
like Comfort Station. From their barometer-inspired mood necklaces, to the earrings

all are unique and special. Each one has a story to tell, yet the items rarely go over
